Fun

Fun in Business - An Essential Ingredient

Keeping a small business fun is one of the greatest challenges for many entrepreneurs. However, there are ways to enjoy your business. Here are a few tips that any business person should apply:

Instructions:

Step 1: Identify what you consider fun. Is it a good laugh, playing golf, keeping fit, enjoying the people you work with, or doing work you feel good about?

Step 2: Choose projects that emphasize your strengths. Employ people to do the things you dislike.

Step 3: Surround yourself with people you enjoy and respect.

Step 4: Take breaks and schedule holidays.

Step 5: Be creative in your business. Take risks from time to time and try something new.

Step 6: Socialize with others in your industry and make new friends.

Step 7: Be silly every once in awhile, and let your employees do the same.

Step 8: Consider employing a trainer or coach to show you and your employees how to keep positive and have fun.

Fun Events:

At The Clean Team, we believe that many activities in life should be fun. If you are not enjoying what you are at, whether at home, in business or otherwise, then maybe you shouldn’t be doing it. It is fundamentally important that you are enjoying whatever you are involved in. When running a business, 'fun' is an essential ingredient.

We plan and ensure that all our activities are fun. You will see this strongly reflected in our training and in our customer newsletters. In addition, the franchisees and staff of Head Office enjoy a get-together at least once every year for a fun event.
