The Initial One-to-One Training Course
Training consists of an initial two-week course. It includes
thorough, one-to-one, classroom-based training and practical
training at our Head Office near Enniskillen, and also in-the-field
training in the franchisees own territory. The comprehensive
programme ensures that new franchisees become competent in
every area of the business method, from effective marketing
to provision of the services, and administration of the business.
It includes accommodation for the period of training conducted
away from the franchisee’s territory.

Marketing Training
Each new franchisee is fully trained in the winning marketing
techniques and strategies that have been proved to be extremely
successful. This training includes very informative programmes
with ideas that will “Eat Your Competition Alive”, “Gold
Mine Newsletters”, “Marketing Ideas” and
the “Ultimate Success Secrets.” All these marketing
programmes have been tried and tested. Franchisees learn
in days what takes other 5 to 10 years.
Operations Manual
During training franchisees are issued with a comprehensive
Operations Manual, together with supplementary technical
manuals. These clearly document the highly valuable Clean
Team know-how and expertise. These are an indispensable reference
for every aspect of the operating method and The Clean Team
formula for success.
Marketing Manual
Franchisee are issued with a comprehensive marketing manual
that details a dynamic marketing plan for the new business.
It includes a complete step-by-step, week-by-week marketing
and business-building programme that is a virtual ‘road
map’ to getting the business rolling from week one.
New franchisees simply follow the proven strategies to success.
Promotional Materials
Franchisees are provided with The Clean Team Portfolio and
bespoke advertisement and sales letters, specifically tailored
to their local publications and budgets. All are designed
to generate new business and to sell additional services
to customers.
Personalised Stationery Package
Franchisees are provided with all the stationery and forms
necessary to operate the business in a professional and
businesslike manner. All stationery items include The Clean
Team Logo and are personalised to the franchisee.
Corporate Uniforms
Each new franchisee is provided with two full sets of the
attractive Clean Team uniform, which displays The Clean Team
logo.
Equipment
During initial training franchisees are issued with their
complete equipment package, along with all the necessary
training on each item. All equipment is mounted into the
vehicle in specific locations designed to ease deployment
when operational. Franchisees are also instructed on routine

An Effective Launch Programme
Each new franchisee is provided with an effective launch
programme that gets the business ‘rocking and rolling’ from
month one. The launch programme is designed to have a massive
impact in the franchisee’s area, through press and
leaflet activities. This programme, coupled with roadshow
activity, ensures that the public quickly become aware of
The Clean Team franchise. If there is already another franchise
of the Cleaning Doctor Network in the area, a joint programme
will be devised to tap into the existing client base. In
such cases, the franchise partner may already have in excess
of 1500 – 2000 clients who will all have a need for
the services of the new franchisee.
Continuation Training and Professional Courses
At The Clean Team we believe that training is never finished;
its an ongoing process. The cleaning industry is evolving
all the time, with new products , materials and techniques
appearing regularly. Our ongoing training is designed to
keep franchises fresh and up to date with new products and
practices. Our refresher courses are held in the UK and Ireland.
Franchisees are able to attend various locations, depending
on when the franchise becomes operational and where he or
she lives.
In addition to the refresher courses, franchisees attend
specialised training courses in order to certify them to
national and international standards. These courses ensure
that franchisees are kept up to date on technical developments
and specialist subjects appropriate to their business.
